Stephen Gately's funeral to be held on Saturday

Boyzone star will be laid to rest in Dublin

A post-mortem examination revealed Stephen Gately suffered a pulmonary oedema

Stephen Gately's funeral will take place on Saturday, his family's lawyer has announced. 

Gerald Kean says efforts are being made to fly the Boyzone star's body body back from Majorca as 'quickly as possible'. 

Manager Louis Walsh has confirmed he will be attending the service, but it is not clear if he will return for The X Factor live show on the same day.

Stephen's bandmates Keith Duffy, Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch will apparently fly to the holiday island to bring his body home on a private jet.
