BREAKING NEWS Stephen Gately 'died of natural causes'

Stephen Gately was in Spain with his civil partner Andy Cowles

Stephen Gately died of natural causes, a post-mortem examination has revealed.

The Boyzone star suffered a pulmonary oedema - the accumulation of fluid on the lungs.

This would appear to confirm speculation the singer choked on his vomit.

Stephen, 33, was found dead at his holiday home in Majorca on Saturday after a night out in Palma.

A judge has ruled that his body can now be flown home to Dublin, Ireland.

Stephen's family lawyer Gerald Kean told GMTV earlier today: 'We are absolutely happy that there is no foul play.'
