Matt Lucas will not be returning to his theatre show following the death of his former civil partner.
The Little Britain star temporarily pulled out of Prick Up Your Ears after Kevin McGee, 32, was reportedly found hanged last week.
But Matt, 35, has now left the West End production for good and will be replaced by Con O'Neill.
'Given the sad news that Matt Lucas has recently received, and the role he was playing, it is understandable that he could not return to play Kenneth Halliwell at this time and our thoughts are with him,' a spokesperson tells the Daily Record.
The play ends with the main character planning his suicide.
