Book will be based on the TV industry

Fern Britton is penning a novel about fame and jealousy.
The former This Morning host has signed a two-book deal with Harper Collins.
The first will be published in time for Mother's Day 2011 and will focus on deadly rivalries in the telly world.
‘I am so excited to be working with Harper Collins on my novel,' she says. ‘This story comes from my 30 years experience in television.
‘Are the characters based on people I have worked with - have any of the storylines actually happened? Or have I made it all up? Readers will have to decide.'
Fern, 52, left This Morning in July. She has been replaced by Holly Willoughby, 28.
