Anne Heche: My son and boyfriend asked me to marry them

Actress is subject of an unusual proposal

Anne Heche and James Tupper had their first child together in March

Anne Heche was asked for her hand in marriage by her son and boyfriend James Tupper on a recent trip to Paris.

Despite the fact that the 43-year-old is not the biological father of Homer, 7, the pair have always shared a close relationship.

‘James and Homer asked me to marry them together as a family,' she says.

But, after her messy divorce from ex Coleman Laffoon, Anne, 40, isn't quite ready to tie the knot again.

‘All three of us decided that we would forever be engaged,' she tells The Observer.

‘From that moment Homer said that he would like to call James his stepdad.'

Anne is also mum to Atlas, 8 months, with James.
