Robbie Williams wasn't bothered about staying alive when he was hooked on prescription pills.
The singer thinks he was 24 hours from death before his management got him into rehab in 2007.
‘At the time you don't give a shit if you pop your clogs,' says Robbie, 35. ‘I must have been very, very close.
‘I would have carried on, to be honest. You get to the point that far into your addiction, you're not bothered whether you live or die, because that's where it takes you.'
Ex-Take That star Robbie is now determined to stay clean.
‘I haven't had a drink for ten years,' he tells The Sun. ‘It's a f***ing miracle. I was a horrendous drunk.'
His single Bodies is out on 12 October followed by his album Reality Killed The Video Star on 9 November.
