Jennifer Garner: I'm a horrible liar

But the actress can keep a secret

Jennifer Garner is married to Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner admits she doesn't always speak the truth.

But the actress, 37, isn't very good at telling porkies.

‘I am a horrible liar,' she said at the Toronto International Film Festival. ‘I can't do it.

‘Even if I have your birthday present and your birthday is not until November and I get a present, I have to tell you.

'I can keep a secret if you need me to, but otherwise, it doesn't work out.

'But I would lie to save somebody's feelings.'
