Peter Andre: I have no hard feelings for Dwight Yorke

But singer would still like to adopt Harvey

Peter Andre loves Harvey as much as Junior and Princess

Peter Andre insists he doesn't hold a grudge against Dwight Yorke.

The footballer branded the Aussie singer a 'muppet' last month over comments that he wanted to adopt his biological son Harvey, 7.

‘I've got no hard feelings for Dwight,' says Peter, 36. ‘But at the end of the day, I've always been there for Harvey and I always will be.

‘Harvey will always be a part of my life. I love him as my own son and I don't care what anyone else says.'

Pete, who has raised Harvey as his own since he got together with Jordan in 2004, won't apologise for the bond he's developed with his stepson. 

‘I have been there for [Dwight's] son, as Harvey did not have a father figure in his life,' says Pete. ‘I'd love to [adopt Harvey]. Of course I would, Harvey is my son.'
