Friends say Jennifer Aniston needs rehab

Drunken rants about Angelina Jolie spark concerns for the lonely actress

Jennifer Aniston's tight-knit circle of girlfriends have told her she needs to cut back on her boozing and if that means rehab, so be it.

‘Jen's perspective is that it's better to have two or three glasses of red wine than to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep,' a friend tells Now.

‘The other day, she was tipsy and ranting at friends about Angelina Jolie, which they see as an unhealthy obsession of Jen's.

'She's still bitterly competitive with Angelina and it's the subject that'll come up time and time again after she's had a few.'

Friends say that otherwise, Jen's lifestyle is strictly healthy. She has a personal chef who rustles up fresh, low-fat meals and she regularly does yoga and weight training. But sources say she uses alcohol to help her sleep.

‘The problem is that Jen's so tiny, just a few glasses can really knock her out,' the source adds.

‘Her drinking is certainly not excessive by British standards.'

Jennifer's spokesman described claims that she drinks excessively as ‘nonsense'.
