Arlene Phillips is returning to Strictly Come Dancing - as a judge on the show's UK tour.
The 66-year-old will join Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood for 33 dates next year.
‘We recognised that we had a winning formula with audiences, so at the end of the 2009 dates we asked Arlene to join next year's tour,' say the organisers.
Alesha Dixon, 30, who has replaced Arlene on the panel on TV, will not feature on the tour.
Stage Entertainment and Phil McIntyre Entertainment insist the decision was made before Arlene was axed.
‘Alesha was approached and asked to be a judge on the live tour,' her rep tells the Daily Mail. ‘It's not the case she's been snubbed.'
The tour kicks off in Manchester on 15 January.
