Saturday, 3 October 2009
Michael Jackson's children are adjusting well to life with gran Katherine Jackson, who was appointed their permanent guardian in August.
The trio are 'doing wonderfully with their grandmother,' says LA Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff.
In a will written in 2002, Michael said he wanted his mum to care for Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II (nicknamed Blanket), 7, if anything should happen to him.
Katherine, 79, receives more than $1million (£606,000) a year from Michael's estate. The singer died with debts estimated at $400m (£251m).
Lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain have now been given general powers over Michael's estate to allow them to consider creditors' claims.
