Singer falls for blonde on shopping trip

Britney Spears now has two feathered friends

Britney Spears has bought a new pet.

The singer fell in love with a parakeet at the California Pet Centre on Wednesday.
 
‘Britney had just picked up some dog food when she spotted the parakeets and decided to buy one,' an eyewitness tells People Pets.

‘She settled on a yellow parakeet and bought a big, white cage and several toys for the bird. She seemed excited about her new family addition.'

Britney, 27, already owns one parakeet and a Yorkie named London.
