Singer experiments with her sound

Amy Winehouse is usually more of a jazz singer

A new home video of Amy Winehouse rapping has appeared on YouTube.

In the clip, the singer, 26, tries to rhyme as he jams with her backing band at her London home.

‘Listen. I can write ten raps a night, it don't matter but you know that it's tight,' says Amy.

‘I will never wear my hair out unless I am with the best. Oh snap I never knew that.

‘Well I know that I'm a Jew. Well, a Jewmaican. Anyway if you can, uh, smoke bacon, then, uh, I reckon that ah ah.'

Amy is currently working on her third album.
