Nelly Furtado: I turned down Playboy

But singer could change her mind in the future

Nelly Furtado didn't want to get her clothes off

Nelly Furtado rejected an offer of £300,000 to appear in Playboy.

The singer was approached by the adult mag when she first became famous in 2000 with the release of debut single I'm Like A Bird.

‘I once turned down $500,000 to pose naked for Playboy,' says Nelly, 30.

‘The magazine was even prepared to pay me $500,000 to pose with my clothes on. I didn't want Playboy on my resume at the age of 22.'

But Nelly hasn't ruled out stripping off down the line.

‘If they ask me when I'm 40,' she tells the Mail On Sunday, 'I'll probably say yes.'
