Burglars target Gwen Stefani's London home

But crooks fail to get into apartment

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were not at home at the time of the incident

Thieves tried to raid Gwen Stefani's Primrose Hill property on Saturday.

They failed to get into the upstairs flat where the singer lives with husband Gavin Rossdale, 43, and their two sons.

But the burglars did manage to break-in to the bottom apartment and stole jewellery.

Gwen, 39, was performing at a concert in Singapore when the incident took place. 

‘There had been forced entry at the address and the flat within it had been burgled,' a Scotland Yard spokeswoman tells the Daily Telegraph. ‘Inquiries continue.'

No arrests have been made.
