Mutya Buena: New Sugababes will be like Diana Ross And The Supremes

Singer reckons Jade Ewen will be frontwoman

Mutya Buena thinks Sugababes Amelle Berrabah and Heidi Range will be overshadowed by newcomer Jade Ewen.  

Mutya, 24, says the 21-year-old will be pushed to be frontwoman because she has a stronger voice.

‘Now I think they're going to end up like Diana Ross And The Supremes,' she tells the Daily Star Sunday.

‘Heidi and Amelle will be Jade's backing singers. It's now all about what they look like, not what they sound like.

‘I think before we definitely had the sound. We were raw. Now it's going to be a lot more polished and manufactured.'

Island Records announced last week that Keisha Buchanan, 24, was being replaced by Jade.
