Martha Stewart sorry for Jessica Simpson over lost dog

Chat show host reaches out to singer

Martha Stewart is a dog lover

Martha Stewart admits she feels for Jessica Simpson after her pooch Daisy was snatched by a coyote in LA.

The US chat show host had previously said the singer ‘should have been more careful'.

But Martha, 68, has now reached out to Jessica, 29.

‘I said that she should have been watching her dog more closely, but I feel very, very sorry for anybody that loses a pet,' she told viewers during her show yesterday.

‘Jessica, I hope you find your pet, but if you don't, I'm really sorry that you lost one.'

In March, Martha's dog Genghis Khan died in an explosion in Leighton, Pennsylvania.
