Jessica Biel to climb Mount Kilimanjaro

Actress will start expedition in January

Jessica Biel has been dating singer Justin Timberlake for nearly three years

Jessica Biel is to scale Mount Kilimanjaro for charity in January.

The actress, 27, wants to highlight the importance of making clean drinking water available to poor communities.

‘This is a basic human necessity that needs to be addressed now,' Jess says in a statement to Access Hollywood.

‘[I want] to help any way I can in order to raise awareness toward the life-threatening clean water crisis happening not only in Africa but around the world.'

Jessica will be joined by on the 19,000ft Summit On The Summit expedition by rapper Lupe Fiasco and actress Isabel Lucas.

Organiser Kenna says more celeb climbers will be announced in the coming months.

Jessica's boyfriend Justin Timberlake, 28, told GQ earlier this year that he was preparing to scale a major mountain.
