Singer splashes out on his followers

Mika has just released his new album The Boy Who Knew Too Much

Mika treated his fans to a free night out - and ended up spending a small fortune on booze.

The singer invited his Twitter followers to an impromptu party in London earlier this month.

‘A few hundred people turned up,' says Mika. ‘It turned into a street party and I bought everyone drinks.

‘The tab cost me £32,000! Never again. It was worth it, though.'
