Sugababe finally breaks her silence
Thursday, 24 September 2009
Heidi Range has spoken out for the first time since Keisha Buchanan's exit from the Sugababes.
Island Records announced on Monday that the 24-year-old was being replaced by Jade Ewen, 21.
Now Heidi, 26, admits there had been a breakdown in communication within the group.
‘It suddenly came to a head last week,' she explains. ‘Me and Amelle knew we couldn't move forward together the way it was.
‘We couldn't work together any more. But we didn't want to throw away what we had achieved and split up...
‘We wish Keisha all the best. But it could not go on the way it was. The atmosphere was not good.
Heidi says she say nothing bad to say about founding member Keisha.
'I'm not going to start telling tales because I have too much respect,' she tells The Sun.
'But I'm really happy with the way this has worked out and we are focusing on the future now.'
