Victoria Beckham: Ellen will be great on American Idol

Posh is a huge fan of chat show host

Victoria Beckham's husband David Beckham recently appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show

Victoria Beckham supports Ellen DeGeneres' appointment as a judge on American Idol.

The US chat show host is replacing Paula Abdul on the panel.

And Posh, 35, who was a guest judge during the auditions, has given Ellen, 51, the thumbs-up.

‘Ellen is going to be great,' she says. ‘She is so sharp and funny. I'm a big fan.

‘David recently went on her show and the boys and I went as well. She was lovely to us all.'
