Rupert Hill and Jenny Platt played on-screen lovers in ITV soap Coronation Street
Former Coronation Street actors Rupert Hill and Jenny Platt are to become parents.
The actor, 31, who played Jamie Baldwin, announced the news on Twitter.
‘Looks like I'm to be a dad,' he wrote alongside a scan of the unborn baby.
He and Jenny, 30, who played Violet Wilson, met on the ITV soap.
Their characters were last seen on TV in March 2008.
