Comedian opts for casual clothes instead

Ricky Gervais likes his pants to be stretchy

Ricky Gervais no longer wears trousers - because he hates having to shop for large sizes.

The comedian, 48, instead lives in stretchy jogging bottoms and pyjamas.

‘I stopped wearing trousers when I got fat,' Ricky tells the Daily Mirror.

‘It's depressing to go into a store and ask for pants that would fit an orangutan!

'So I haven't worn them for about a year.'
