Justin Timberlake to star in Facebook film

Singer will act alongside Andrew Garfield

Justin Timberlake has previously starred in Alpha Dog and the Love Guru

Justin Timberlake has apparently landed a lead role in a new movie about Facebook.

The singer is expected to play the site's founding president Sean Parker in The Social Network.

It's thought Justin, 28, will start shooting in Boston next month.

Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield are also tipped to star in the picture, reports Variety.

The Social Network is being directed by David Fincher and the script has been written by The West Wing's Aaron Sorkin.
