Sacha Baron Cohen to star in The Simpsons

Bruno actor will play Israeli tour guide

Comic actor Sacha Baron Cohen is known for playing characters Ali G and Borat

Sacha Baron Cohen is making a guest appearance in The Simpsons.

The Bruno star, 37, will play a 'pretty angry but funny' Israeli tour guide.

His character meets the animated family when they visit the Holy Land with their church group. 

'It'll be a show that all faiths can come together and be offended by,' executive producer Al Jean tells Entertainment Weekly.

The episode, named The Greatest Story Ever D'Ohed, is expected to air in the US on Palm Sunday next year.
