Alesha Dixon insists she won't step down from her role as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing.
The singer has faced a barrage of criticism since she replaced Arlene Phillips, 65, on the show.
‘I am not a quitter,' she says. ‘It's not in my nature to consider quitting.
‘We are just starting on a long road and I know I can help make the path smoother for some of the celebs,' she tells the Daily Mirror.
Alesha, 30, who won the BBC dance contest in 2007, knows she won't be popular with everyone.
‘You can't please people all the time,' she adds.
A BBC spokesman says: 'We were pleased with how Alesha was received.'
