Peter Andre's album reaches No 3

Singer beaten by Muse and Dame Vera Lynn

Peter Andre's album Revelations was released on 14 September

Peter Andre's comeback record Revelations has entered the album chart at number three.

Muse took top spot with The Resistance, knocking wartime singer Dame Vera Lynn into second.

Pete, 36, didn't think his album would beat Muse's third offering.

‘I'm competing with the big boys and I think it's fantastic that I'm even, at this stage, close to them,' he told Now in a recent interview.

‘To be honest, I think Muse is gonna take [the top spot] no matter what, I always thought that anyway.'

Muse outsold the next top three albums combined, according to the Official Charts Company.

JZ, David Gray and Pixie Lott make up the rest of the top six.
