Tess Daly: I’m Vernon’s geisha

Strictly host runs around after her man

Tess Daly recently gave birth to her second daughter

Tess Daly admits she likes to treat husband Vernon Kay very well.

Strictly Come Dancing presenter has been married to the Radio 1 DJ since 2003.

‘I tease him,' she says. ‘I say, "I'm your geisha. Look at me running around making you cups of tea, washing your clothes, picking your wet laundry up off the floor, cooking your dinner".'

But Tess, 38, doesn't mind doing things for Vernon, 37.

‘I think every woman's like that, good to their man,' she adds.

Tess admits she runs a tight ship at home.

'I'm a bit bossy,' she tells S Magazine. 'Well, 'a bit' is probably an understatement.

'I'm very particular and cleanliness and tidiness round the house so I get very obsessive about junk and clutter. It drives me crazy.'
