Pixie Lott’s party venue goes up in smoke

Singer’s celebrations disrupted when building catches ablaze

Pixie Lott's single Boys And Girls reached No 1 in the charts

Pixie Lott's Boys And Girls celebration party was disrupted on Sunday night after a fire broke out at a Brentwood nightclub.

The 18-year-old singer had booked the Sugar Hut in Essex to celebrate her No 1 success but the 500-year-old building went up in flames at 7.30pm and was alight for 3 hours.

Guests and ticket holders were ushered away from the venue as 11 fire engines arrived to tackle the blaze.

Pixie didn't let it spoil her evening though, she just took her 30-strong group of friends home.
