Actor escorts 25-year-old to New York bash

Sean Penn was Madonna's first husband

Sean Penn has been snapped holding hands with 25-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Jessica White.

The pair were celebrating fellow catwalker Noemie Leonoir’s birthday on Saturday at new New York restaurant Abe & Arthur's.

Sean, 49, split from wife Robin Wright Penn in August after 13 years of marriage.

The actress, 43, cited irreconcilable differences as the grounds for divorce.

The Penns had started legal proceedings twice before but changed their minds about wanting to part.

They are parents to 16-year-old son Hopper Jack and daughter Dylan Francis, 18.

Sean was previously married to Madonna.
