Jo Wood: I put my wedding ring in a coffin

Strictly star is happy to be single

Jo Wood stars in this year's Strictly Come Dancing

Jo Wood has drawn a line under her failed marriage to Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood.

The Strictly Come Dancing star split from Ronnie last year, and says she's moving on.

‘A well-wisher sent me a coffin ring box out of the blue,’ she says.

‘When I opened it, I just thought, “How fabulous!” I did a little ceremony and in the ring went.

‘I now keep the box on a shelf of what was Ronnie’s old bar in the house which I have turned into a coffee bar.’

Jo, 54, is glad Ronnie, 61, is now with cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova, 19.

‘She has now become me, having to look after Ronnie full-time,’ she tells The News Of The World.

'And I have now become her – free and single.'
