Lady GaGa and Green Day also scoop gongs

Beyoncé Knowles was the big winner at the MTV Video Music Awards.
The singer took the night’s main prize for Video Of The Year for hit Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
Beyoncé, 28 – who performed at the New York ceremony last night - also received trophies for Best Choreography and Best Editing.
Lady GaGa, 23 - who turned up with Kermit The Frog as her date - and Green Day were the other big winners, winning three gongs apiece.
Other winners included Eminem for Best Hip-Hop Video for We Made You and Britney Spears for Best Pop Video for Womanizer.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air on MTV1 at 9pm tonight.
