Ricky Whittle: I've had no bust-up with Zoe Lucker

Hollyoaks star Ricky Whittle has rubbished reports that he doesn't like Strictly Come Dancing co-contestant Zoe Lucker.

While starring in Dream Team back in 2005, Ricky is reported to have given an online interview and called Zoe - who played Tanya in Footballers' Wives - 'a stuck-up cow'.

Ricky, 27, says it's nonsense.

'It's upsetting to read stuff like that,' he tells Now. 'Everyone is getting on really well and it's a shame people just want to create fireworks backstage.

'I'm hoping Zoe will be a great friend over the next few months.'

Strictly Come Dancing starts on 18 September on BBC1.
