Matthew Pritchard shot to fame on MTV stunt show Dirty Sanchez

Dirty Sanchez star Matthew Pritchard was stabbed twice during a bust-up in a supermarket on Monday afternoon.

The 36-year-old was treated for neck and chest wounds at a Norwich hospital following the incident at the Budgens store in Toftwood, Dereham.

‘He was trying to defuse an altercation and was subsequently attacked and stabbed,’ reads a statement issued on Matthew’s behalf to the BBC.

‘He has received treatment from the local hospital in Norwich and is now assisting police with their investigation, so has been advised not to discuss this case in more detail.

‘He would like to assure all fans of his well being and has since been discharged by the hospital.

‘He would also like to convey his thanks to the local police, doctors and nurses who have helped him over the past 24 hours.’

A man in his 30s is being questioned by police.
