Tamzin Outhwaite: My husband's a great dad and I find that sexy

The actress is loving married life and being a mum

Tamzin Outhwaite plays tough in her latest TV dramas but motherhood is her favourite role of all

Former EastEnders starTamzin Outhwaite is the proud mum of 15-month-old daughter Florence but juggling parenthood and acting isn’t easy for the 38-year-old.

Luckily, actor husband Tom Ellis is a hands-on dad.

'He does nappies, night feeds, the works and Florence has really connected with him,' says Tamzin. 'I love the fact they have a strong bond. There’s something very attractive about seeing your husband as an amazing dad. It’s quite sexy.'

Tamzin is sure she's found Mr Definitely 100% Right.

'I love being married,' she tells Now. 'It’s like having a partner in crime, a soul mate, a best friend and someone you’re going to grow old with all in one.

'After three years of marriage, I’m still very aware of how lucky I am. It’s hard to remember a time before we knew each other. We have a really even and equal relationship.'

Tamzin’s about to appear on our screens in a second series of The Fixer and is currently filming new BBC1 drama Paradox in Manchester.
