Jade Goody's granddad: We’ve washed our hands of Jack Tweed

John Caddock hits out at widower

Jack Tweed has been remanded in custody

Jade Goody's family are cutting all ties with Jack Tweed.

The 22-year-old was charged with rape when he appeared before Redbridge Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

‘I can't believe he's been charged,’ Jade’s granddad John Caddock, 71, tells The Sun.

‘It would've left Jade heartbroken had she still been alive. I've washed my hands of him. The family don't want anything more to do with him.’

Jack denies the allegations. He is due before Snaresbrook Crown Court on 21 September.
