Presenter recounts ordeal

Chloe Madeley admits she’s lucky to be alive following her car crash last month.
The presenter’s Peugeot 206 flipped over after she hit a parked vehicle near her family home.
Chloe, 22, who was charged with drink driving following the accident, was twice the legal limit at the time.
‘I knew I'd been drinking but I felt absolutely fine to drive. I thought if you felt sober it was OK,’ she recalls.
‘I was a corner away from home. There was a Mini parked on the side of the road with its back wheel at a 90-degree angle. I noticed it a second too late. My front wheel collided with it and somehow flipped my car.
‘It luckily ended up in a perfect parking space on the other side of the road - but on its roof. If I'd been a little forward, backward or to the right I could have died.’
Chloe, who was banned from driving for 20 months, is now trying to move on.
‘I had a huge mess of a shoulder from where the seat belt was,’ she tells the News Of The World. ‘I also cut my foot crawling out. But amazingly they were my only injuries.’
