Danielle Bux: I’d given up on the idea of getting married

Model is delighted she met Gary Lineker

Danielle Bux and Gary Lineker started dating in 2007

Danielle Bux didn’t think she would ever be a bride.

The model, 30, married ex-footballer Gary Lineker, 48, last week in a small ceremony in Italy, wearing a £9,000 designer gown.

‘Before I met Gary, I’d given up on the idea of getting married,’ admits Danielle. ‘As a young girl, you do imagine your wedding day, but as you get older, you get real.’

Danielle is now determined to enjoy her time as a newlywed with the dad-of-four.

‘I’m going to be the happiest woman in the world,’ she tells Hello! magazine.

Gary is dad to sons George, 17, Harry, 16, Tobias, 13, and Angus, 12, with former wife Michelle. The couple divorced in 2006.

Danielle's 7-year-old Ella daughter - who was born during her relationship with retired footballer Adam Wllis - was flower girl at the ceremony.
