Susan Boyle album tops Amazon pre-order chart

Britain’s Got Talent star in huge demand

Susan Boyle has reached No1 in the album charts three months before her debut record is due for release.

The Britain’s Got Talent runner-up, 48, is outselling artists such as Whitney Houston and The Beatles on Amazon.com's pre-order site.

‘I send you all my best wishes and sincerest thanks for all your kindness and support, it has meant so much to me,’ Susan writes on her website.

‘It is so liberating to be able to see some of my dreams coming true.

‘This is exciting as this is my first time on the internet.'

Susan’s debut album I Dreamed A Dream is out for official release on 23 November.
