Former couple communicate through his mum Mairead
Monday, 7 September 2009
Brian McFadden has revealed that he and ex-wife Kerry Katona are not on speaking terms – despite being mum and dad to 2 daughters.
The couple, whose divorce was finalised in December 2006, have fallen out over how to raise daughters Molly, 7, and Lilly-Sue, 6.
Brian and Kerry, both 29, have resorted to communicating through his mum Mairead.
‘We split up over 5 years ago and I haven’t spoken to her in well over four years,’ he told Ireland’s Late Late Show.
‘We can’t speak to each other. I wish it was different but we can’t agree on anything and it just becomes fighting and aggression.’
Brian is now engaged to Aussie singer Delta Goodrem.
Kerry is also mum to Heidi, 2, and Max, 1, with husband Mark Croft, 39.

guess leaving westlife wasn't such a good move if he can't work in ireland or the uk and hasn't enough money to fight for his kids.
Didn't he dump his wife? What does he expect? FISH HEAD
i find it discusting that brian makes such remarks, he should not care how they speak and with what accent they are his children and should love them no matter what , I know how much contact he has because i know kerry mark and all the kids . kerry is a good mum i know as i see first hand they love her so much as she does them x belive it or not they do normal things as a family
if kerrie always had problems, no wonder Brian left her.
