Chris Brown has been ordered to stay away from Rihanna for the next five years

Chris Brown isn’t giving up his day job.

The singer's career stalled after he pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna, 21, in February.

But he's determined to win back his fans.

‘I don't think, at the end of the day, my career's over,’ says Chris, 20. ‘I just need to prove to people I can be a role model.’

Meanwhile, Chris says he wasn't emotionally equipped to deal with the rough patches during his relationship with Rihanna.

‘We're both young, nobody taught us how to love one another,’ he told US chat show Larry King Live.

'No one taught us a book on how to control our emotions, our anger.’
