Sarah Jessica Parker is under pressure

When she stepped out of her Manhattan home last week, the stress was clear to see on Sarah Jessica Parker’s face.

Friends say her marriage to Matthew Broderick is under pressure as Sarah, 44, tries to juggle her career with caring for their twins Marion and Tabitha.

The babies were born to a surrogate just three months ago, but since then Sarah’s already been back at work on the film Did You Hear About The Morgans? and Sex And The City sequel

Our source says: ‘She and Matthew are living in separate areas of their house. With feeding the kids, Sarah’s only getting two hours’ sleep a night and turns up on set looking exhausted.

'Matthew feels he’s playing mum and dad while she’s working, but she feels he’s not supportive enough. It’s creating a real divide.’

Recently, Sarah enjoyed a rare night out in NYC with co-star Hugh Grant, while Matthew, 47, was nowhere to be seen.

‘Sarah knows being seen with Hugh will make tongues wag,’ says our insider. ‘It’s a shame her marriage is back on rocky ground – it was just starting to recover after the fresh cheating accusations surrounding Matthew, which he hasn’t denied.’

Sarah’s gaunt appearance has led to gossip websites criticising her veiny arms.

Our source says: ‘Sarah feels she’s losing her looks. She thinks she looks like an old granny in recent pics, so she’s been working out even more. If she’s not careful, she’ll end up looking like Madonna.’
