Liam Neeson has thanked his US fans for their support following the death of his wife Natasha Richardson.
The actor says the warmth of well-wishers even prompted him to apply for citizenship.
'I'm still a proud Irishman, of course,' Liam told ABC’s Good Morning America.
'But I've become an American
citizen - I'm very proud of that.’
Liam, who has sons Micheál, 13, and Daniel, 12, says they're slowly coming to terms with Natasha's death.
’To be honest, we are taking each day as it comes,’ he said.
Natasha, 45, died in March following a skiing accident in Quebec, Canada.
