Preston once relied heavily on medication to help him sleep.
The former Ordinary Boys frontman, 27, was going through a tough period at the time.
‘It was pretty bad at one point,’ says Preston. ‘I’d have a bottle of wine and some sleeping pills every night.
'I was doing the [sleeping pills] for about 5 or 6 years, and you’re only supposed to do them for a month! I felt defeated. I felt like my whole life was over.’
Preston's failed marriage to Chantelle Houghton only added to his misery.
‘It affects people differently and I was destroyed and couldn’t talk about it at all,’ he adds.
