The X Factor judge prefers boybands
Sunday, 30 August 2009
Louis Walsh didn’t enjoy working with Girls Aloud.
The X Factor judge mentored the group on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.
‘Five girls are high maintenance,’ he tells the Belfast Telegraph. ‘They were very needy.’
Louis, 57, reckons boybands are easier to work with.
‘There wasn’t the honesty that I had with Boyzone or Westlife,’ he adds.
The music manager now works with Girls Aloud’s Cheryl Cole, 26, on The X Factor.
