Hiding her figure under a loose-fitting black dress in California earlier this month, it looks like Sharon Osbourne has again surrendered to her lifelong battle of the bulge, having reportedly gained 3st.

The new photos surely confirms reports that the former X Factor judge has turned down the chance to compete in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, despite previously saying she’d love to do it.

Over the years, Sharon, 56, has made no secret of her struggles to stay slim – and admitted earlier this month: ‘Food for me will never be easy.’

The America’s Got Talent judge had a gastric band fitted in 1999 and lost almost 9st, dropping from a size 22 to size 10, before deciding to have it removed three years ago.

In all, she’s spent a reported £120,000 on plastic surgery.
