Michael Jackson burial delayed

Star's dad says he won't be laid to rest on birthday

Michael Jackson was due to perform at London's O2 Centre over the summer

Michael Jackson will now be buried on 31 August, says his dad Joe Jackson.

He was due to be laid to rest in LA next Saturday, on what would have been his 51st birthday.

But Joe says they need more time.

‘There are things the family needs to get in order before Michael is laid to rest,’ he tells TMZ.

Michael, who died of a suspected heart attack on 25 June, will be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A tribute concert is scheduled to take place in Vienna, Austria, on 26 September.
