Michelle Heaton's body struggles of the past, especially attempts to slim down her sturdy legs, are a thing of the past and after nine months of hard work she’s got the figure she always dreamt of.
But some friends are concerned that Michelle’s gone too far. The formerly busty star is now almost flat-chested, those thighs she always complained about are super-sculpted and the curve of her hips is nonexistent.
‘Michelle’s signed up for the New York Marathon in November and she’s already running at least six miles a day,’ one friend tells Now.
‘Some weeks she’ll have no carbs at all and if she does indulge at the weekend she’ll stress about losing her “bulge”, even though no one else can see one.
‘She’s out running or in the gym with her boyfriend Hugh [Hanley] every day if they get the chance and they encourage each other. Michelle’s on a very strict high-protein, low-carb diet that gives her headaches some of the time. It’s consuming her life at the moment. She constantly talks about diet and exercise.’
Last month, Michelle told us she was enjoying her new body, having shrunk from a size 12. ‘I still wear the same clothes, it’s just that now I feel a lot more confident in them,’ she said.
Part of the problem before was getting into the routine of exercising, as she’s always hated it. ‘Michelle never went running before, but she’s going to get pretty obsessed with it if she does the New York Marathon,’ the friend adds.
