The battle lines have been drawn as Jackiey Budden tries to ban Jack Tweed, 22, from having contact with her late daughter Jade’s kids Bobby, six, and Freddy, four.
Jackiey, 51, is set to seek an injunction to stop Jack from seeing his stepsons. She’s also trying to get the support of the boys’ dad Jeff Brazier, 30, although there was a clause in Jade’s will that apparently allowed Jack access to the kids.
Our source reveals: ‘Jackiey’s very concerned about Jack’s mental state. Jeff feels sorry for Jack and doesn’t want to punish him. They know he loves the boys, but don’t think he’s in a fit state to be left alone with them at present.’
Jack’s vowed not to take this lying down. ‘I’d fight any attempt to prevent me seeing the boys,’ he insists. ‘It’s Jeff’s decision and I’m on good terms with him.’
Jack has repeatedly tried to get Jackiey to allow the boys to visit him at his new flat, where his wild parties have outraged neighbours, but Jackiey turned him down.
Who gets Jade's cash?
Jade’s will is due to be published on 26 September. Her estimated £6 million fortune will be placed in trust for her boys. Jackiey is expected to get a monthly allowance and Jack is thought to be inheriting the Porsches and their furniture.
