Joe Jackson: Michael will be buried on his 51st birthday

Star's dad says it will be held in LA

Michael Jackson was due to perform his This Is It concerts at London's O2 arena

Michael Jackson will be laid to rest on what would have been his 51st birthday, according to his father.

The singer will be buried at LA’s Forest Lawn Cemetery on 29 August, says Joe Jackson, 80.

It was thought his body had been buried during a private ceremony earlier this month.

Michael died of a heart attack on 25 June.
